5TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONSTRUCTION HISTORY (5ICCH) / CHICAGO / 2015

The Construction History Society of America is proud to have hosted the 5th International Congress on Construction History, which took place in Chicago in June 2015. Nearly three hundred delegates from twenty-one countries attended the Congress. The 5ICCH was the first time the Congress was held outside Europe, and a panel We Built Chicago and several tours were offered.  Sponsors

6th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONSTRUCTION HISTORY (6ICCH) 
BRUSSELS / 2018 

6ICCH was held at the Palace of the Academies (early 19thC) in Brussels the second week of July, 2018. Over 300 research abstracts were submitted and 160 papers were presented, discussing a broad range of topics related to Construction History. There were one or two new subjects – such as a series of papers on maintenance.  List of CHSA members presenting at 6ICCH here.

4th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONSTRUCTION HISTORY (4ICCH) / PARIS / 2012

Held in Paris, the 4th International Congress brought researchers from all over the world to present the latest research on Construction History.  Abstracts from the Congress are presented here.

3rd INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON CONSTRUCTION HISTORY / COTTBUS, GERMANY (3ICCH) / 2009

Following International Congresses on Construction History in Madrid (2003) and Cambridge (2006), the third Congress was held in Cottbus, Germany in May 2009. Approximately 300 delegates attended the Congress, including seventeen American delegates. Over 200 papers were presented.
