6th International Congress on Construction History – Brussels 2018
The 6th International Congress on Construction History will be held from July 9-13, 2018 at the Academy of Sciences in Brussels, Belgium. For the first time, thematic sessions as well as the usual open sessions will be organized. Therefore, a two-step procedure is adopted: the call for thematic sessions is launched first, followed by the general call for abstracts. The general call for abstracts will invite contributions for the special thematic sessions as well as contributions dealing with a broad range of construction history topics (typology, the action of building, knowledge transfer, process and actors, materials, services, etc.). With this combination, the organizers aim at both a broad and an in-depth assessment of new research in construction history.
Submissions for thematic sessions are due to email@example.com by April 1, 2017. The call for abstracts for individual presentations will be announced in May, with submissions due to firstname.lastname@example.org by June 15, 2017. All accepted papers are due by December 1, 2017.

The Construction History Society of America is proud to have hosted the 5th International Congress on Construction History, which took place in Chicago in June 2015. Nearly three hundred delegates from twenty-one countries attended the Congress. Proceedings from the Congress may be ordered in three volumes (Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3). The 5ICCH was the first time the Congress was held outside Europe following the four previous congresses hosted by Madrid (2003), Cambridge (2006), Cottbus (2009), and Paris (2012).
